We held our Christian Aid Coffee Morning on 17th May at Queensferry Church. Our final total, with some gift aid still to come, for our Christian Aid Coffee Morning and Plant Sale, is £2020.64. Well done all who helped on the day, with the setting up, who contributed items for the stalls and who attended. There was such a happy atmosphere in the busy church and grounds.
Christian Aid is working with farmers in Guatemala where many sources of water for growing crops are drying up because of the intensified heat of climate change. These farmers are learning how to grow drought resistant crops. It is so good to know how valuable the funds we collected are in helping those in great need and to the environment.
