Connections opens twice a week in the church hall on The Loan on Monday and Wednesday mornings currently from 10 – noon for teas, coffee and refreshments.
Why not give it a try and meet your friends or family there. We have toys available for the wee ones and adult games for older folk on request from our friendly volunteers. You can stay as long as you want no need to rush.
Our volunteers are always willing to sit and chat if you are on your own.
Find out about the wide range of other opportunities to engage with locally. The list is surprisingly long, so whether your preference is swimming or litter-picking, kids’ activities or DIY with the Men’s Shed, singing or even panto (oh yes, really!), there’s bound to be something for you.
We can also provide information about how to connect with the foodbank, and related services about benefits and keeping those fuel bills lower.
Each month we try and offer a special event, computing for the beginner was our last.
The local craft group meet at Connections every Monday and welcome new members.
