Our Vision
We are increasingly recognised as a welcoming, worshipping church which uses the gifts of its people to reach out, serve and engage with different parts of the communities in which we are involved.
Our Services

Weddings
Anyone interested in being married at Dalmeny & Queensferry Church should in the first instance contact the Minister. A meeting will then be arranged between Minister and the bride and groom.

Baptisms, Thanksgivings & Blessings
Within the Church of Scotland a number of special services are available to celebrate the days of new beginnings on our faith journey.

Funerals
One of the privileges of being part of the Church of Scotland is that we are committed to providing the services of our Minister for the conducting of funerals for anyone within the Parish boundaries.

Ways to Prayer
Find a comfy seat, sit down and relax.
Try to clear your mind of all the worries and concerns you have.
Listen for the voice of God speaking to you.
I hear you ask- How do I stop myself falling asleep?
Sometimes it helps to focus on something, perhaps a lighted candle, or a flower.
You might want to open your bible and read a passage and listen for God speaking to you through that passage.
There is no right or wrong way, we each pray in a different way but God is still listening.
If you would like to get involved in any of our activities please contact our prayer promoter Wendy on prayer@dqpc.org or phone the church office 0131 331 1100
Our Teams
The work of our Kirk Session is taken forward under our unitary constitution by 9 action-oriented Teams.
There are 7 Ministry Teams and 3 Support Teams who provide support for all our activities across worship, pastoral care, property and stewardship, organisations and the wider community .
The leaders of these nine Teams meet together regularly as the Forum, to share visions and plans.
There are opportunities to become involved in any of these Teams, Please refer to the “How to get involved” section within each Team description or email the session clerk. Not sure what your gifts are and where you might best contribute?
