We marked International Women’s Day at Dalmeny Kirk Cafe with a celebration of all our amazing volunteers who help out at the cafe on a Friday. We did so by making some very special cupcakes with some familiar faces on them and inviting our customers to write a little note of appreciation to our volunteers. There were so many lovely messages and it really brought it home that the cafe is not just about the tea and scones (although these are extremely important!) but is about the company, the contact and the welcome that is given to all by the smiles from our wonderful volunteers. A huge huge thank you to these amazing inspirational women.
