Guild Strategy 2024 – 2027– Let us Build a House
Guild Theme 2025 – 2026 – Living Stones
We are entering our second of our strategy ‘Let us Build a House’ where we build from ‘Sure Foundations’ to ‘Living Stones’
Since the beginning of time stone has been used in many different ways and for many different purposes. In the Bible we find stone being used to mark important milestones in the journey of the Church, Joshua used stones to mark the Israelites’ entrance into the Promised Land. Stones in the Bible represents strength, stability and enduring faith.
We start our year by having our Annual Gathering on Saturday 13th Sept in Perth North Church – Our New National Convener is Kay Coull who is a member of Balerno Church and Guild. It is nice to have a convener who is a member of Edinburgh Presbytery. Please pray for her in her year of office. If you would be interested in attending please let me know. From Monday 15th – Saturday 20th is Guild Week when we will have different activities and also a couple of zoom meetings looking at previous projects. Again if you are interested please get in touch.
Sunday 21st is Guild Sunday when members of the Guild will take part in the Services
Monday 22nd is our first evening when we will have a get to know you evening and also a quiz
The Guild is open to Ladies & Gentlemen. Feel free to bring along a friend or just come on your own. We are a friendly bunch and you will be warmly welcomed. We meet in the St Andrew hall on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 2.00pm and the 4th Monday at 7.30pm
